"A lot of people have successful lives with criminal records"

Only time in my life I was in real trouble and had no previous criminal record. I was facing two felony charges and two misdemeanors. After going through the criminal justice system and seeing how other people charged with similar crimes with previous records work out plea deals with the prosecutors ...on their clients behalf, I feel having him as my attorney was the worst decision in my life. I now have two felony convictions which could have easily been dismissed if I knew what I know now. I went from making $80k a year to being unable to get a job at Walmart because of these convictions. I know for a fact he didn't read my discovery report until the day of pre trial where I was recommended to plead guilty to everything so we didn't waste the courts time. Since I have two felonies, I cannot have them expunged so I'm screwed for life. Never answered my calls and would just return them the day before or day of court dates. Prosecutors recommended probation for all of the charges and I still ended up doing 200 days in jail. I'm planning on seeing if I can submit an appeal since they have it on court transcripts of him telling me to just say yes to a charge that wasn't originally being pursued by the prosecutors. Do yourself a favor and get an attorney who isn't just there for a retainer and will actually look out for your best interest.

This review is fraudulent. I have never represented this person. This person may have me confused with someone else. This person's post doesn't even make logical sense. When would someone get 200 days in jail on a case where the prosecutor is recommending probation? Furthermore, why would I tell a person to plead guilty to a charge that "wasn't originally being pursued by the prosecutor"? I would welcome this anonymous person to produce the alleged transcript where I am supposedly telling them to plead guilty to a charge that wasn't being pursued. It frustrates me that anyone can anonymously post a fake review that could attack someone's character and destroy their reputation. If this person actually hired me to represent them, I would've thought they would've call me to air their grievances to me personally. No such person has contacted me to complain about the situation described in the post. If you are reading this, I hope you take the time and look at some of the other 40+ 5 start actual client reviews that paint a much different picture than the one in this post. After you read some of them you will know that this one is bogus. What an amazing attorney

I hired Todd for 2 cases. I had previously worked with 3 lawyers on my Oakland County Case. Let's start with Genesee County. I called Todd at 430 pm informing him I had a warrant. The next day he met me at the court in flint where we had a felony arraignment. He got me a personal bond, so I didn'...t have to post any money. To make a long story short, the felony was resolved in 3 court appearances. It was reduced to a misdemeanor and once restitution is paid it will be dismissed like it never happened. He was so good, someone asked for his card in the hallway. Next case Oakland County. The case is not done yet. Let me tell you I don't give up on anything, but if I was Todd I would've gotten sick of me by now. Hundreds of texts to Todd and phone calls and he still doesn't hesitate to answer them and answer any questions. This man deserves an award for seeking fairness in the courtroom. He is truly the best attorney ever !
