I retained Bernadette, for a case with my daughter, she went to court with us made all these promises and said she was going to file things for us and we paid her and over the next few days she and I texted back and forth and she told me that she filed the items and we were supposed to meet so that I... could get a copy of things. She kept making stupid excuses left and right. Then finally just stopped responding to texts, emails and phone calls. She does not respond to anyone. She ended up filing an item but it was filed late and therefore denied! We had to hire another attorney dish out more money, to find out she cant represent us and has to file a motion to get Bernadette off the case. So now she has screwed us and we are in limbo with a losing case!!! This lady is very unprofessional, and scattered! She was scattered in the past with another case but I tried to give her a chance. She was still doing a job. But I just do not understand why she would just do this to us. I trusted her and this is what I get! Never ever would I recommend her she does not have it together at all!

This woman was the most effective, responsive and accurate in my representatation. I was very impressed by her professional appearance but most of all her influential appearance in the courtroom. I believe that when Ms. castro appeared in the courtroom everyone took notice and the results of Ms. Ca...stro's representation was remarkable. this woman can work miracles, which unfortunately was what I needed.

I hired Bernadette Castro 3 years ago to represent me in what I believed to be at that time, a simple divorce. After nearly two years in court, and my husband hiring and firing three high priced attorneys, I wound up with a nice settlement and spousal support. I now own my own business and have Bernadette handle a variety of matters as I learned from my divorce that she is very effective, aggressive and versatile. While I commend her for her growth I praise her more for her modesty as she still is very reasonable in her fees but clearly could charge more. I sincerely hope that wont change. I highly recommend her for family, contactual litigation and criminal defense.
