I hired Bernadette Castro 3 years ago to represent me in what I believed to be at that time, a simple divorce. I didn't have much money at the time, so I chose her because she was fairly new to the practice and very affordable. As the divorce progressed, she discovered that my husband had more mon...ey then I was aware of and the divorce became litigious and lengthy. After nearly two years in court, and my husband hiring and firing three high priced attorneys, I wound up with a nice settlement and spousal support. I now own my own business and have Bernadette handle a variety of matters as I learned from my divorce that she is very effective, aggressive and versatile. While I commend her for her growth I praise her more for her modesty as she still is very reasonable in her fees but clearly could charge more. I sincerely hope that wont change. I highly recommend her for family, contactual litigation and criminal defense.
