Susan L. Winters

As a debt collection agency this group needs to do better keeping debtors informed of the current balance owed. No paperwork is sent out - except for the court summons. When discussin on the phone they were condenscending and cold. Of course making payments on time is my responsibility, but working to help resolve the issue can be better handled.

Called to request a a payoff letter from them. The person I talked to would not let me get a word in kept cutting me off. Has happened every time I’ve tried to call and talk to a person about anything. Yes it’s a debt collector but no reason to be mean and unprofessional.

I understand where this is coming from, but whenever I tried to contact this office, I was only contacted twice by Debrah... I tried to work out a payment plan, but was unable to hand over a bank account number and I got about a month later, after I had called and my attorney had called, neither time did I get a response until I called myself multiple times, even then, she was blunt, unforgiving and pretty jack booting cut throat pirate like pretty much every cut rate "give me or else" collection company, honestly, if I could, I would disbar her for even lending her name to a firm like this... There was no communication... Which lead me to have no chance to defend myself or my position to a judge, just as Im sure they wanted it.

For months I have been trying to have an issue resolved, needless to say it still not resolved as of this post. In all fairness, the first initial call I made regarding my problem Susan did contact me and state steps that would have to be taken to re-issue a check that was sent to me. That time has passed and then some, the staff is rude with the exception of one young man who has obviously been taught manners. I have called at least 15 times. the last time I called which was last week, I was told that Susan Winters would be calling me but that they could not tell me when she would call. never seems to have any information nor do they even try. I'll have to start over and file a motion with the court, but this time I'll make sure to go before the Judge and ask for a deadline date.

My experience with this attorney was negative, the staff is rude and they lack communication skills, once on the phone with Susan L Winters herself, I came to the realization that she doesn't set the bar high when it comes to manners, empathy, listening, communication and resolution. A well educated individual has manners, Susan L Winters demonstrates the opposite, in any field a cordial conversation is encouraged to reach resolution but this attorney lacks work ethics.
