This person was hands-down a nightmare to deal with. He lured my spouse and I into a Chapter 13 plan so that he could get paid long-term fees. We only had an '08 vehicle, and pursuant to his counsel, we declared a code of bankruptcy that wasn't a right fit – over time, it became clear to us that Jess...e Sweeney. This so-called attorney also failed to inform us that each email we exchanged would add an additional $100 charge to our bill. He knew we had no option but to pay him, and really kicked us while we were down. Furthermore, his correspondence was anything but professional. He was very short with us, and wrote very informally – usually in all lower capitalization with no proper grammar, and this seemed to get worse in the eveningtime... overall, I would rate this guy lower than 1 star if it were available. He didn't make any concerted efforts to help us understand this very complicated code of the bankruptcy laws, and frequently grew annoyed with my spouse and I when we would seek clarification from him. He also led us to believe one of our vehicles was safe from repossession for a period of time, only to have it taken in the middle of the night abruptly. His failures as cousel eventually led to the dismissal of our Chapter 13 plan when health events caused the loss of my spouse's employment. Overall, he's shown himself to be an inconpetent shrewd, unworthy of even one red cent he extracted from us during one of the most challenging time of our lives. Avoid this person like the plague. You'll be glad you did!

Jesse is a top notch lawyer. He is prompt at returning calls from the first contact, is punctual in showing for court, explains things in laymens terms and goes above and beyond.
