Since 2007, I have dedicated my career to advocating for clients across Michigan in criminal defense matters. My practice focuses on misdemeanors, felonies, traffic violations, and driver’s license restoration cases, including ignition interlock violations. Over the years, I have helped countless individuals navigate the often-complex legal and administrative processes involved in getting their licenses restored and resolving criminal matters effectively.

In addition to my legal practice, I was the President of Sales and Marketing at Nationwide Interlock and Electronic Monitoring. This role gave me an insider’s perspective on interlock devices, compliance requirements, and the challenges clients face during the license restoration process. It also allowed me to develop a practical, strategic approach to guiding clients through every step — from understanding interlock regulations to presenting compelling restoration cases to the Secretary of State.

I am a certified SCRAM and Ignition Interlock device expert and have testified as an expert witness in multiple states across the country. My experience extends beyond the courtroom — I regularly attend Michigan judicial conferences, where I instruct judges, probation officers, and court staff on the proper use of interlock devices in treatment courts as well as educate them on the driver’s license restoration process.

A major focus of my practice is driver license restoration hearings. I have a proven track record with a strategy for success. I practices across the State of Michigan helping clients restore their driving privileges. All hearings are conducted in one of the Drivers License Appeal Department hearing offices before a Hearing Officer.
I am licensed to practice in the State of Michigan as well as the United States District Courts in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. I am also a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM) as well as the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
