Ian A. Caldwell

Ian is definitely the only reason I got my license back after my 2nd OWI offense that I received almost 7 years ago. I had retained Ian to help me w/ getting my license back after having received my 2nd DUI. I had already attempted to get my license back myself, but was unsuccessful. In Michigan, there is a magistrate, Mr. Clover, whom all lawyers seem to fear when doing a DLAD. Ian was the first and only lawyer who was not intimidated by going before Mr. Clover. Since the magistrate you will have to go before is chosen @ random, I knew it would be best to have someone who is not intimidated, vs someone who was just hoping to get anyone other than Clover. Ian was there every step of the way. He took time to answer my phone calls, and answer my sometimes lengthy emails w/ all kinds of questions. Ian laid out for me the specific guidelines he wanted me to follow in great detail. Examples of the letters I needed my witnesses to write were provided and proved to be very helpful. It had been 8 years since I had my license, 7 years since my first attempt to get my license back. I felt that if it did not happen this time, then it was never going to happen.
