I specialize in fighting for victims of car accidents and dog bites. I am licensed in the States of Michigan and Ohio, as well as several federal district courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

 

After graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, I began my career as an insurance defense attorney, where I represented many of the largest insurance companies. My background in defense litigation has given me a unique perspective into the workings and mindset of big insurance companies and their lawyers, which I now use to my clients’ advantage.

 

I consider it a privilege to fight for the rights of injured people and to help them move forward after some of the most traumatic moments in their lives. No matter what problems or questions my clients may have, I will always take the time to listen and provide assistance. Excellent
The firm of Goodwin & Scieszka, PC was recommended by a friend following injuries I sustained on the receiving end of a rear end collision. Gary was assigned to my case and was able to settle with the insurance company for three times the figure they offered me without attorney representation. First experience with a lawer
Gary fought for my rights all through the process of reaching a settlement. My Insurance company was not paying their portion of my expenses and he made sure that they covered my costs and any future expenses I may incur. Very Professional
Gary was my first ever experience with an attorney of any kind. He was extremely helpful, took me seriously, and helped me through a difficult decision to begin a personal injury lawsuit after a dog attack and bite. He kept me abreast of any information he obtained, and up to date on the status of the case, even if we were just "waiting". He also checked up on how I was feeling because I had been bitten on my hand and arm. He was concerned with my injury and my doctor appointments. He was completely up-front about the fee after we settled with the defendant's insurance company, and provided me with an itemized log of all our transactions and costs. I have referred two people to him already.
