Horrible public defender

Lied and told me I needed to be in the state in order to fight my charges( probably because she didn’t want to be bothered). Was NOT clear about my charges and did not let me know I had another one added until I was in front of the judge. When I sent her my dash cam video she didn’t even know who I w...as and I was her client. If she’s ever Cory appointed ASK FOR NEW REPRESENTATION.

Did an excellent job for me

Deborah does such a great job. You can tell she's passionate about law and helping people. She's very kind and caring as well. Thank you Deborah. ~Adam

Not reliable

Deb did not return phone calls, keep me up-to-date on any hearings, did not forward documents and could care less about my case. She only took the court appointed case because she can bill hours to the court and you have no idea or what she does and you can't challenge it. She is worthless. Do you... not use her for anything.

Very thankful

She did a wonderful job representing me for over a decade. Very compassionate about what she does

Attorney with only court appointed cases

Deborah McKelvy can't get cases on her own and only gets court appointed cases because nobody wants her. She was appointed to my case and I was stuck with her. She didn't really care about helping just going through the motions. She didn't fight for me and I got a bad outcome from the judge. It s...eemed like the judge knew she didn't do her job to find out all the facts. If you get her try to change her.
