Jonathan Grant Chance

I initially reached out to Mr. Chance to see if he would be interested in representing me on a non compete covenant as I was about to leave my employer to seek similar work in my field. This grew into me needing representation on a wage and hour dispute with additional protection against a countersui...t involving an intellectual property claim over software design. Mr. Chance absolutely represented me in spectacular fashion! I have had to hire attorneys in the past and I can say, without a doubt, this was the first time an attorney really understood my needs. He was very responsive to my questions. In many cases his responses would lead to me further realizing evidence that would fortify our position. Needing an attorney is an emotional rollercoaster and it moves you to make rash decisions but he brought me to reality on many occasions with good reasoning and explanations on how it could actually derail the case. I have immense respect for an attorney that will tell you straight out that you shouldn't waste your time even though it could generate billable hours for them. Though I have only had a few interactions with Jonathon through a case my family is involved in, I have been overall extremely happy with him. He is definitely someone who has gained my trust, when our previous lawyer lost it. He is available and he takes care of business promptly and thoroughly. The... best part about him is that he is very kind and patient, which I feel like makes him to such a fantastic job and gives us a lot of hope, when so much of it was lost.

I've hired Jonathan Chance a few times the last couple years for multiple problems that I've had including: license suspension, traffic citations and a recent DUI. He is a fantastic traffic attorney, and I'm so glad that I found him. I've continued using his services due to the fact that he's more th...an competent at his job.. At any point that I attempted to contact him, he was always quick to respond and knew everything going on with my case. He does everything possible to help ensure a good outcome and I'm thankful for everything he's been able to do for me. If I ever run into another traffic problem (fingers crossed I won't), I will not hesitate to call him again for his services.

Hired Jonathan Chance in 2008 and paid him $3000 to seal records of arrests in San Francisco. He told me several times that California allows sealing of records. No court date was ever set and he refused to return my calls. I filed a complaint with state of CA bar. He promised to work on my case. I... never received a court hearing or information on my sealing of records. He never returned my money. I was out $3000. I was not able to fly back to california to file a second complaint due to lack of money. Please Beware.
