I was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1995 and remain active and in good standing. I am included in the Indiana Roll of Attorneys, the Indiana Supreme Court’s database of attorneys licensed to practice law in the state. I am accredited by the Veterans Administration and represent clients throughout the region before the Social Security Administration.
The Martin Barnes Law Office is an Indiana legal firm focused on estate planning law, and disability cases representing social security claimants and veterans. My practice style combines sensitivity of the legal and medical challenges faced by the disabled, forceful advocacy and the latest legal research and documentation resources. I maintain the highest ethical standards while representing clients’ rights and interests to bring about winning outcomes.
In keeping with practice priorities, the office features universal access and accommodation including reserved parking spaces for handicapped clients, exterior ramps, automated entry and many other aids. The building I occupy is representative of careful environmental design and my office equipment and technologies are geared toward energy savings.

Mr Barnes has handled my legal needs professionally and efficiently. I am confident in his knowledge and feel very comfortable that he has provided complete and accurate legal documents for my estate.
"Martin is a great attorney and gives his clients excellent service. I would recommend to any person needing an attorney to represent them for a SSDI matter."
"Martin Barnes is extremely thorough. He is also very cautious, which is important for an estate planning lawyer. He will not make any decisions without ample research on a matter. He is great to work with and very personable. He is a great asset to our legal community. I am happy to know him and work with him."
