I had Brooke Bernhardt as an attorney and it was the absolute worst representation (if you can call it that) she missed a court date and didn't tell me, never got in contact with me except to ask for more money. I wasted my entire retainer fee for an attorney that was more worried about her social li...fe than my case. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Brooke did absolutely NOTHING for me. I was leaving a very abusive marriage where my child was taken from me. I had to make a gofundme to pay the retainer. She didn’t even show up for my court date and sent Zach instead and he knew nothing about my case. She took advantage of a young mother who was d...esperate to get her child back. Its absolutely disgusting.

I hired Brooke for a highly complex divorce/custody case involving removal of children from the state, and other uncertainties. Brooke ended up winning the case and getting me full-custody with me being a single father. Throughout the case, Brooke showed an excellent ability to use legal remedies eff...ectively and strategically. Brooke also displayed superior communication and negotiation skills when communicating with the opposing party's counsel, the court, or any other parties involved. Brooke showed high level of client dedication by promptly responding to my inquiries or sharing information regarding important and time sensitive issues including on evenings and weekends. Overall, Brooke went above and beyond and won a case that I would describe as very difficult and highly complex by all standards. I would highly recommend Brooke for any family law related issues but especially for complex cases. Thank you!

Brooke seems extremely competent, but do not be fooled. She will keep you on the phone to increase the costs as well as charge for revisions of documents even when they are due to errors on the law office. Another thing to watch out for are multiple incorrect filings which also adds to the bill. Her ...performance in the court room setting was disappointing as she was repeatedly pushed around by opposing counsel. All the monies spent felt wasted. If I had known what I know now, I would have never hired her. I would highly recommend seeking different counsel for representation. Hopefully this helps others in doing so.
