Barbara Louise Horwitz

Barbara Horwitz is an experienced bankruptcy attorney helping people get past financial difficulties. She believes in creating a relationship with clients and is dedicated to making the bankruptcy process as easy and stress-free for clients.

Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a Legal Assisting Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. She received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she served on Law Review for two years. Two of her law review articles were selected for publication in the University of Cincinnati Law Review: “The Extinction of the Peremptory Challenge: What Will the Jury System Lose by Its Demise?” and “The Duty of Schools to Protect Students From Sexual Harassment: How Much Recovery Will the Law Allow?”.

Barbara was an associate attorney in the Offices of Myron A. Wolf for fifteen years. During that period, she practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, personal injury, insurance defense, wills, probate, civil disputes, family law, and general litigation.

Barbara has practiced extensively before the Court of Appeals for the Twelfth District of Ohio, where her arguments have generally resulted in the Court ruling in her clients’ favor.
