My client (also my son) sustained significant damage to his home from water damage over a long period of time. His insurance company offered only a miniscule amount, based upon a faulty evaluation by ... the adjustor. I sued for breach of contract and bad faith. Case went to jury trial on breach of contract claim, and once that was won, settled at mediation on bad faith issue.
