I was charged with DUI and noise ordinance violation. She kept telling me to plead guilty to DUI (attend 3 day class pay $500) and they would drop everything else. She was saying it like everything else was a big deal; when it was just noise ordinance (a $50 fine). I knew that wasn't a good deal; I k...new that she didn't bother to negotiate with the prosecutor she just asked what he wanted then spent her effort trying to get me to accept it. I would not. I wanted real representation not a voice for the prosecutor, so she asked the judge to release her as my attorney. I hired a second attorney who actually did his job, he negotiated with the prosecutor and got noise ordinance dropped, DUI down to failure to control-no 3 day program and got my property returned. He represented me and my interests to the prosecutor were as Ms. Suarez represented the prosecutor's interests to me. Which is Not worth a dime. Why pay an attorney who is going to be an advocate for the opposition?
