Biography
Before Mike formed Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, he practiced for many years as a personal injury attorney in Dayton, Ohio. Mike’s incredible passion for helping injured clients created the cornerstone on which Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz was built. Throughout Mike’s entire legal career his sole focus has been on creating the best possible legal experience for each and every client. Because of this, Mike has been able to build a rock-solid reputation for outstanding client service and satisfaction.
In addition to his relentless dedication to client service, Mike knows how to get his clients the results and compensation they deserve. As a founding partner of Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, Mike has personally directed the settlements of hundreds of millions of dollars for the firm’s clients. Under Mike’s leadership, the firm has achieved multi-million dollar settlements from some of the world’s largest corporations. Whether he’s pursuing the nation’s largest retailer for employee wage violations, prosecuting multi-national pharmaceutical companies for selling dangerous drugs, or holding health insurance companies responsible for the wrongful denial of health insurance benefits, Mike is able to level the playing field for his clients when taking on large corporate interests.
Although Mike has achieved great success for his clients, his passion for helping people is not confined to the inside of a court room. Mike is extremely active in various community charities and formerly served as a board member for the Montgomery County Heart Association. Mike also serves as a trustee for the University of Dayton School of Law and is continually asked to lecture to healthcare professionals and attorneys on the proper handling of personal injury cases.
