Unprofessional lawyer

Picked him because he had a military background to assist me with divorce. My take home pay was $3000 a month and after first hearing where he had me sit outside so he could handle it - I was ordered to pay $2500 a month in spousal support. I believe a large part was due to him not being able to an...swer questions by the judge - some of which were military related! He was always quick to say I got it, but we never won any appeals. I repeatedly faxed all information he needed prior to all hearings and he would come out and ask a related question to those documents and he would act surprised like he never seen them. He definitely didn't mind all the extra court time! I was a client of John helbling-to give you an update on how horrible he was, he waited 5 years and took me to court saying I owed him $1600. He was always under orders to not work past retainer. It wouldn't surprise me if this is a tactic he uses for a lot of his past clients. He’s a lawyer that no military people should ever use.

Domestic/auto accident/criminal defense

John is a hard working attorney that has helped me with several legal matters. He's always been attentive and his legal knowledge top notch. I researched him and found these other reviews and quizzed him about them. Although he was too professional to comment, my impression having dealt with him f...or a while is that these are nothing more than fabrications. I have recommended him to my family and church friends who have also had great results.
