I was looking for representation on 3 cases; 2 restraining orders I filed, and to defend me against a retaliatory immediate removal of my child filed by my ex afterwards. My ex and his wife hired a very expensive, high profile criminal lawyer. Two lawyers I consulted with told me I might lose simply ...because they hired this man! I found Brien through the lawyer referral hotline, and I'm so glad I did. Brien smiled at the challenge and accepted all 3 cases for a flat rate. He isn't like the stuffed-shirt, business hours only, charge you for every second, typical law guy. He actually cared about the future of my family. I work long days and he met my schedule by tweaking his own. He kept me informed, updated, and coached me in areas I have little knowledge of (like what to wear to court and the terminology). Our first trial was the immediate removal trial and Brien was flawless in the courtroom! Confident, calm and knew the facts. We won! My ex's lawyer was so angry he yelled at Brien asking if he would be representing me at the next trial and threatened me with a custody trial that didn't exist in front of the magistrate! Brien advised me that my ex could still appeal the verdict, and asked if I still wanted him to represent me for the restraining orders? He offered me many different scenarios and how my money might be better spent if they continued to try to take my daughter? He offered to coach me in representing myself too! I was amazed he didn't jump for the cash. In the end I did represent myself for the restraining orders. It was a beautiful disaster! I lost, but due to my evidence being labelled incorrectly. The ex and spouse had the same high-priced lawyer, so did I really lose? My employment of Brien ended in April, but he still texts updates and checks in with me months later. Brien isn't a lawyer for the money, it is his passion. I would recommend him to everyone I know, except my ex!

I wish I could give ten stars. Mr. Miller handled my daughter’s complicated DUI case. His “legaleze” was top shelf. I was more impressed with his care and compassion for her well-being going forward. There was no discussion about fees or fine print. Available at any day and hour including w...eekend to ask questions and consult and literally cry on his shoulder. Highly recommended!!!!
