Great attorney

Ed is a criminal/civil/personal injury attorney and I have used him in all three situations. He is straight forward and tells it how it is. He's affordable and easy to get ahold of and gets results. I would recommend Ed to anyone and have sent quite a few family members to his practice. He has saved ...me so much time (behind bars and infant of them) and money. GREAT guy.

My go-to guy! A great attorney who truly cares and fights for his clients.

Ed was referred to me by my sister when a past mistake caught up w me in criminal court. I had made a stupid and grievous mistake in 2008 while suffering from addiction and was under secret indictment for 11 months. Of course, I knew what I did was wrong but I did not know that I had been set up to ...do it w a Warren County Task Force officer. I had no idea what I had done when I did it. A month after the incident, I sought and received treatment to get off of pain pills on my own. I was 10 months clean and sober when I was blindsided by being arrested for a felony 2 aggravated trafficking indictment. I had never been in serious trouble w law enforcement prior. My charge carried a minimum mandatory 2yrs and up to 8yrs in state prison. I had the best judge you could ask for but because I would not work w the police and state prosecution to "set up" other ppl to get out of taking responsibility for my own actions, the prosecutor was not willing to work w me in dropping my charge down to a lesser felony. I was headed to trial facing as much as 8 yrs in prison. Ed Kathman was able to appeal to the mercy of the court and argue on my behalf to get me a plea deal that dropped my charge down to a Felony 3 w a 2 year prison sentence. I couldn't have been happier. I served my time and have been out for two years. I will be clean 5 years in January. Ed has become one of my closest friends and confidant. I continue to use his services in my child custody case. I call Ed my 'A.P.A': All Purpose Attorney. From criminal to personal injury, Ed Kathman is the man for the job.

Ed Kathman

I was going through a very messy case concerning my little girl. I had parted ways with a lawyer that made me feel like i was done for. I remember looking for a lawyer, and Mr.Kathman popped out to me. I called him and he called me right back. i was honest with him about everything that was going on ...and th fact I had a trial very much impending. I not only met him within a few days, he didnt have my tranferred files from my other lawyer. We spoke and he went to my first trial and turned everything around. Ed takes care of his clients, he is very direct to his clients, meaning even if he is representing you he will tell you how it is. My daughter was going through a terrible time and she loves him. I won my case and it all has a big chunk to do with this man. He is like a part of our family and I thank him everyday for being behind us and my child. I would highly reccomend this man to anyone if you are looking for a tough lawyer who will know if the other party id not telling the truth...

A Pitt Bull when you need one!

I have used Ed on several occations including a child custody battle. Ed is very direct and goes for the throat. He's good at bringing the worse out of a person when examing them by showing all the negatives such as why haven't you gone to any of your childs doctor's appointments or been active in th...ier life. He doesn't do custody cases normaly but for us he was a god send. The other half looked like an idiot in court trying to answer Ed's questions showing how uninvoled they were and that custody was better left to us who takes care of the child's needs. We've used him for some other things and he's never let us down and always keeps us updated on everything.
