Laura Elizabeth Thudium

I am so glad to have had Laura Thudium as an attorney as I entered the collaborative approach to a dissolution. She brought a network of professionals who have a depth of expertise to deal with the intricacies of sorting the end of a marriage. We were assisted by a financial advisor, a home loan fac...ilitator, a pension fund expert, and a loan company versed in dissolution financing. The legalities of a dissolution are deep and baffling. Laura was in constant contact while we worked through the process. When all the information was finalized our petition was accepted without a hitch. Laura was so efficient in the use of her time, that there was a pretty good chunk of my retainer left. Woohoo!

Enough good couldn't be said about the job that Laura did. She was able to take an incredibly stressful and complicated situation and explain it in terms that I was more easily able to process. I worked with Ms. Thudium during my divorce and custody process. I was very nervous going into the process and was worried I would just be another case number. I contacted Laura in order to file for divorce and full custody of my daughter who at the time was only 2 weeks old. I had serious concerns about the mental health and ability of my daughter's father to care for her. I also had concerns regarding my daughter's safety because her Father and his signif...icant other had a domestic violent incident where my daughter was present and Laura took these concerns very seriously. She also prepared me so well for trial that nothing happened that was unexpected. She listed to me and focused in on my top areas of concern. She did such an amazing job that the judge was able to recognize ALL of my concerns. Based on Laura's hard work the judge ordered everything I asked for including for my to have full custody of my daughter. I am sure Laura think she was just doing her job but, she literally changed my and my daughter's life for the better. I am forever grateful that I was able to find a knowledgeable, professional and understanding attorney who helped me get orders in place that are in the best interest of my daughter.
