We used Mr. McKay to do a complete update of our estate documents. He was thorough, he answered our questions well, and, as far as we know, did a great job at creating all the documents our heirs will need. Every time we met, we were assured that the cost would be between $2500 and $3500, so we were surprised when we were billed over $4000.

My wife and I engaged Mr. McKay for complete estate planning service, including wills, living wills, healthcare powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney and establishing two trusts to benefit our children. In about four months, the result was a comprehensive estate plan that we are confident will meet our objectives.
My only concern was the cost. After the initial consultation where we reviewed our needs with him, Mr. McKay provided a range of the estimated cost for services. The final actual cost ended up being twice as much as his highest estimate and three times his lowest estimate.
