James Patrick Langendorf

James Langendorf practices primarily in the areas of Employment and Labor Law (unpaid overtime and civil rights claims), Class Action Law, Probate and Administration, whistleblowers in False Claim Act qui tam, and Litigation and Appeals. At Hurley Law, he is the Employment Law leader. For over 23 years, James has been resolving wage claims informally, in state and in federal courts across Ohio, specifically in Dayton, Middletown, and Cincinnati.

Over the course of his professional career, James has done tough work through tough circumstances. He has worked as a dishwasher, line cook, tire changer, delivery clerk, and tugboat deckhand. He knows what it is like to have been shorted wages, which motivates him to challenge cheating companies and wrongful employers to ensure his clients are paid what they deserve.

James also is a Controller and General Counsel at Complete Lawn Specialists, Inc. He directs accounting, finances, and human resource management of the company.
