Compassion

Shelly recently concluded an old outstanding case for my girlfriend. We both think very highly of her as a lawyer. We now think of her as a friend as well. Thank you very much Shelly!

Stood by Me

Attorney Shelly stood by me for a long, hard 18 months. She always gave me good advice and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. She's a straight-shooter and doesn't make wild promises. You can trust her and what she is saying. She told me that the goal in a divorce case is not to be happy a...t the end, but to be equally unhappy. I thought that was weird at first, but as time went on I knew what she was saying. No one wins in a divorce and custody case. We all lose. I'm just glad Attorney Shelly was with me and she did a good job for me. She returned my telephone calls and sent me copies of all the paperwork. She was well prepared for our court appearances and spoke well in court. I knew she had my back and the result was good. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a fighter.

Horrible experience

This lady seemed to care at the beginning of my custody case, saying all the right stuff. As time went by getting her on phone to discuss issues or gerting paperwork (I did all leg work getting papers) and she still came to court unprepared and seemed to be more interested in the ground than cross ...examing my ex. She even let the other lawyer badger me with out one objection. The only time she would return calls is if I threatened legal recourse against her. She seems to only care about being paid and then could care less about the outcome. She should be reviewed by the bar association and I am still debating filing a grievance against her law firm. SHE DOESNT SEEM TO CARE ONE BIT SAVE YOUR CASH AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO WILL SHOW THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL A CASE DESERVES

I am sorry to learn you had such a bad experience. I strive to be the fighter and the protector that my clients need. Custody cases are long, hard fought battles. Cross-examination is never a walk in the park. Keep in mind, what you think may or may not be relevant is not necessarily the same way the court thinks. Sometimes you may think an objection is necessary, when in reality there may be no basis for the objection. I urge my clients to keep their eye on the big picture. Just like your case -- YOU WON CUSTODY. That is something to rejoice in and never take for granted. I am sorry you did not like the Court's decision with respect to the visitation schedule. I remain dedicated to pursuing my client's goals and objectives and turning a tough time in life into a successful outcome.

Eternally grateful

I hired her for grandparent's rights. She filed my paperwork fast and got me a court hearing a right away. I'll be eternally grateful because I got temporary custody of my grandchild. I was so happy because I thought I wasn't going to see that baby again. The attorney was good in the courtroom an...d asked all the right questions.
