Frank Louis Cassese

A native of the Mahoning Valley, Frank L. Cassese graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School before attending the Ohio State University (B.A., 2008). He earned his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2014.   

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Frank completed an internship with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, clerked for Mahoning County Common Pleas Judge John Durkin and worked at DeBartolo Sports and Entertainment, Inc. He also assisted in the management of Cassese’s M.V.R. Restaurant, a landmark Youngstown restaurant that is owned by his family.

After law school, Frank took a position with the local law firm of Betras, Kopp & Harshman. Throughout his time at BKH, Frank gained tremendous experience in both criminal and civil litigation. In 2016, Frank joined Hartwig Law to expand his focus in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and domestic relations.

Attorney Cassese is licensed to practice law in Ohio as well as the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Mahoning County Bar Association, the Nathaniel R. Jones American Inn of Court, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (OACDL), and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Frank resides in Youngstown with his wife Jessica.
