I hired Jill to represent me during a child custody battle with my ex. I was extremely satisfied with the representation that I received. There were three main things which Jill did that make her stand out as an excellent attorney. #1: She is honest and trustworthy- it wasn't easy putting my i...nterests in someone elses hands. I believe she advocated my position fairly and effecitvely. She wasn't afraid to tell me her opinion; even if it wasn't something I wanted to hear. #2: She is experienced and knowledgeable. Custody battles are clearly emotionally charged events. She helped me make logical and rational decisions at crossroads. Most importantly she helped me stay on track with my desired outcome and not fall into petty squabbles. #3: She kept me in the loop: This was an important one for me as it was a big deal that I knew what was going on. She explained how the process would unfold and kept me posted as my case progressed. I received regular communications from her office. As for her billing, I received regular statements (so I knew how much things were costing). I found her billing practices were fair, reasonable, and upfront. If I needed to communicate something to her she was responsive to e-mails and her assistant Martha was always on the ball at making sure a key message got passed along in a timely manner.
