Brendon Jay Kohrs

I was referred to him by a family member (which he is a great lawyer for HER case bc it’s a whole different case) his communication was very poor, I had never been charged with an OVI before, he told me very little, I had so many questions. After the case was over, I emailed him.. never heard back. I... guess he got his money and was done with me. Actually, I emailed him a lot about several things, and even called and left voicemails, got maybe 1-2 replies. Only really talked to him at my court dates. He rushed through it, I was better off getting a public defender honestly they would have done the same thing for me as he did but for much less money. I feel ripped off. I do not recommend him.

Brendon is a very friendly, down to earth man who is very reasonable and professionable. He handled my divorce,and anytime i had questions,concerns about my case he took the time to talk to me and make sure i understood everything that was going on and if he was busy at the time of my call,he got bac...k to me as soon as he could. I have recommened him to people who inquired about a good attorney,and will always recommend him.and if there ever is a time in the future, that i may need anthor attorney and its something he specializes in i would not hesitate to call him. Picking a lawyer these days is difficult because there are so many bad ones here. A lawyer can be intelligent but his court rhetoric or even his work ethic can destroy your case. Before Brendon, I had 2 other lawyers. He surprisingly surpassed that. Brendon rescued my case. At the time, I did... not have custody of my child and have not seen my child in months. My previous lawyers did write a good motion; however, it would be just that--a good motion. Nothing really got resolved. Brendon's skills and intelligence helped resolve a lot of the ongoing custody challenges. He EVEN was able to get me temporary custody when I had several doubts. Though he claims it was rather easy, I and my family were in complete and utter shock. In addition to being intelligent, he consistently coached me into what I should could, and must do. If I did not follow his recommendations, he would clearly explain to me the affects of those actions. He understood the big picture. More importantly, he is cost efficient. He actually tries to help you save money. What type of a lawyer does something like that?! Not taking him as a lawyer is detrimental to anyone's case. He is a 10 out of 5 in my book. Highly recommended.
