Mr. Walton took my retainer to look into a matter for me, he said he would call me within 2 months.... it has been almost a full year now, I have tried to contact him several times and his Associates/Secretary always give me the runaround and tell me they will give him the message and have him call back "ASAP"....NEVER HAPPENED!
I tried to resolve the issue through the BBB and they told me he also did not respond to all of their attempts to contact him on this matter...I am now in contact with the Attorney Generals offices.
If you value your hard earned money I HIGHLY suggest you find a different lawyer!
I repeat BUYER BEWARE.... DO NOT USE GERALD R. WALTON & Associates!

Jerry never returned phone messages left with his secretary or his associates; he was never available when you called or when you stopped in person; even though we hired him specifically, he would send his associates to continue pretrial hearings; personal matters or his self induced poor health was always an excuse as to why he was never available; when the case went to trial (at his associates request), he was completely unavailable in the days leading up to the trial; on the date of the trial, without fighting for a much lesser charge, he told me to roll over, accept the plea (9 months probation in lieu of jail time).
