Do not retain as all other reviews have stated he will take your money promise a good defense only to sell you out you will end up going to prison. And that's were this looser wants you. Knowing you can not contact him for any resolve. He can't be trusted then come to find out he took a retainer from... my co dependent promised him the better out come sending me to prison. DO NOT HIRE...

Hired this hack on the recommendation of a a family member, that somehow he had managed to get out of several charges in multiple courts on the same day .. including one child endangerment for blowing over .4 bac with a kid in the car.. Sadly .. I couldn't even get him to show up on time for eithe...r of the two court appearances we had.. 45 and 40 minutes late.. Then I find out he didn't even bother to read my case file until literally 10 minutes before we walked into the pre-trial which was the second appearance .. Up until that point I was told this was pretty much going to be a walk in the park .. and not to worry about anything, some standard punishment but nothing that I should lose sleep over. .. of course he felt that way because one of the two judge options at the court was an old college drinking buddy of his, as well as again .. not reading the case. Sadly he knew well ahead of time(since the arraignment) who the judge was going to be. Well aside from the judge chewing his ass, I couldn't duck quick enough to dodge the book that was being throw my way, metaphorically speaking. I by no means felt I was going to be in the clear.. Not once. Since the arrest, but there was no need to bullshit me however. After sentencing I again has a hurricane of smoke blown up my ass telling me that we will petition the court after 6 months for a reduced sentence, and that I need to call him around that time. Well I called, the open mouth breather that answers the phone there is probably just as disorganized as he sounds, and just as unorganized as his boss absolutely! . I didn't get a call back .. called again the following week .. finally got a call 3 days later. . Told him as he suggested I should call and try to get the ball rolling. He told me he would call me back in a few days once he looks into it and talks to the court....that my friends was 2 months ago. Don't worry Gerry, you hack .. I took care of it myself ..

Is the best Attorney I've ever been a client of i had never been in trouble in my life until I hurt myself I was prescribed pain pills an detoured my whole life I messed up an excellent paying job I was diagonosed with MS Attorney Walton has been a life saver for me I refer all my friends and family ...to hI'm he's the best in my opinion he doesn't judge he just does his job I adore him but I pray this is the last time I need him for my stupidity I think he's awesome !!!!!i I would refer him to anyone he's a great attorney and he's very humble as well...

Mr. Walton took my retainer to look into a matter for me, he said he would call me within 2 months.... it has been almost a full year now, I have tried to contact him several times and his Associates/Secretary always give me the runaround and tell me they will give him the message and have him call b...ack "ASAP"....NEVER HAPPENED! I tried to resolve the issue through the BBB and they told me he also did not respond to all of their attempts to contact him on this matter...I am now in contact with the Attorney Generals offices. If you value your hard earned money I HIGHLY suggest you find a different lawyer! I repeat BUYER BEWARE.... DO NOT USE GERALD R. WALTON & Associates!
