Jerry never returned phone messages left with his secretary or his associates; he was never available when you called or when you stopped in person; even though we hired him specifically, he would send his associates to continue pretrial hearings; personal matters or his self induced poor health was ...always an excuse as to why he was never available; when the case went to trial (at his associates request), he was completely unavailable in the days leading up to the trial; on the date of the trial, without fighting for a much lesser charge, he told me to roll over, accept the plea (9 months probation in lieu of jail time).
