Bruce B. Elfvin

I'm writing this review because I wanted to express my gratitude for the tremendous work Mr. Bruce Elfvin and the entire staff at Elfvin and Besser has done for me. From the outset Mr. Elfvin made me feel comfortable and confident in my case, he was very truthful and honest during the entire process.... I did not at any moment feel like a client but more like family. Anytime I had a question or concern Mr. Elfvin was there to answer the call. Mr. Elfvin and Mr. Stuart Torch were very professional as well as the entire staff at Elfvin and Besser. I have and will continue to share my experience to everyone and would continue to recommend them. When I felt at my lowest they were there to comfort me and my family and for that alone I want to say " Thank You".

In 2003 before I was fried from my job with the city of Cleveland. A friend referred me to Bruce. I know that I was about to be fired. So I was getting legal advice from Bruce before it happen. He gave me great advice, kept me on track so that I never missed a deadline or meeting. He was there when I... needed him. When I called I was never put off. I felt important. I was afraid to stand up for my right he made me feel confident . Bruce was very thorough and organized in getting the facts from the first time we met until the case was over .He represented me in all legal matter related to this case. He went to unemployment hearing with me. Bruce helped me file a discrimination charge against my employer and my union with the E.E.O.C., and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. In a settlement agreement with the union, the union agreed to take it to arbitration, something that they were not willing to do before. In the end I won my case and got my job back with back pay, and all the benefits that I had lost returned. I won my case thanks to Bruce’s counseling and legal expertise Many times I have referred good people to him, with great result.

Bruce provided needed guidance during a very stressful and hard time for me. He professionally kept me focused, adressed the potential issues concerning my case and suggested honest and clear recommendations. What I appreciated most was that I felt I had a partner and control of decisions that I felt... comfortable with throughout the process. I was very satisgied with the results of my case.
