Look elsewhere

Toledo, Ohio office: Poor experience. Never called when they said they were for my first appointment. I called later in the day and was told the attorney was busy. I said it would have been nice to know that since I waited 20 minutes for his call. Made a second appointment and spoke to a guy for ...30 minutes. He said he would review with his team and get back with me. He did the next day saying they weren't going to accept my wrongful firing claim. No explanation in his email. Just said they weren't going to pursue it. I replied to the email asking why and never heard back. I left a message with the secretary asking for the guy to call me back. Never received a call back. I called again and left a message on his office voicemail.. Never received a call back. If this is how I was treated, I wouldn't want them representing me at any time. Stay away. Look elsewhere.

3 years of waiting

The Spitz law firm is by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a lawyer,(not a case) a lawyer and firm. They talk down to you, and expect you to know the law. They only do what you want them to do , and if you can’t think of what you want them to do, they won’t do anything for you. I had an... open and shut case, where the defendant openly admit to retaliating. DON’T USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE RELATED TO SOME ONE WHO WORKS THERE !!

Awesome- wasn't sure what to expect.

When I was fired from a weird marketing firm, I had a lot of questions. I called this firm and spoke to Kelly Wilson, who went over what to expect. I was a little skeptical when she said it can take up to a year to get an amount- but she assured me we would pursue it in court if need be. Long story s...hort, our case didn't settle and I was then working with an attorney who specifically represented clients in court, Daniel Dubow. After discovery, we were offered an amazing amount of money and even after giving 40% to my attorney. I got thousands for something I almost didn't pursue. While the legal process is long and somewhat boring, it worked for me. Thanks everyone!

Slow and low

Took forever to file suit even after getting it filed and dates set he dropped the case stating it was a strategy to get more information from the opposition, then refiled the case which took even more time to get a new court date, at the end it took 2 years to get a very low amount of money. My case... also got switched to several different people in his office which I wasn't informed until I called for update on the case. I wouldn't recommend.

Great result!

Brian and his team of lawyers were honest from the begining. They kept me informed the entire time and Brian really destroyed my former boss at deposition. The other attorney looked stupid in comparison. I hope that I never get wrongfully fired again, but if I do, I would go back to the Spitz Law Fir...m again. Great job!
