I want to start by saying Douglas Whipple is a WORLD CLASS Attorney. His level of expertise, professionalism, attention to detail, is far beyond what I could have hoped for. After interviewing Six different law firms in Cuyahoga County , It was clear the Mr Whipple was the man for the job. He express...ed interest in my case and wanted to HELP me in the matter. My legal situation as DEFENDANT was extremely unique and complicated, we were dealing with an extremely aggressive and dirty plaintiff, and my home of more then 30 years where I raised my children was literally on the line, had we lost the case, I would have literally lost my home. In my case I was approached by a buyer to purchase my home, the buyer and I agreed on a purchase price, when the appraisal came back on the home it was a 3rd of my asking price. The seller had put some tricky wording in the contract that would suggest I would be willing to sell for WHATEVER the appraisal came back at, obviously this was not the case and I found myself in a very sticky situation. (At the time I signed the contract I did not have legal representation) So once I refused to GIVE my home away the plaintiff filed suit to get the contract enforced. Mr Whipple created a clear, concise and strong defense from day 1. He left no stone unturned, subpoenaing the banks, mortgage reps, Realtors etc. The case went to trail which lasted 3 days and that's where you can really tell the difference between a good lawyer and a great one. Mr Whipple argued the case like a pro, I mean without exaggeration it was like watching a Johnny Cochran, F. Lee Bailey, Gloria Allred etc. That's the level of representation your going to get with Mr Whipple. During the trail Mr Whipple presentation was top notch, he had a point by point illustration for the jury to make sure nothing was missed or not argued. He also went as far as to rearrange the podium and seats to position them in a way so that when he was speaking to the jury they would have a clear view of the illustration and the parties involved. After deliberation the Jury came back with a almost unanimous verdict! We won the case. I can not thank Mr Whipple enough and I would HIGHLY Recommend anyone to hire him for ANY of your legal needs. At this stage in his career he is set, its not about the money for him , he is not just chasing a dollar like the majority of lawyers out there. He is MORE then worth his fee, but more importantly he has a PASSION for Law. Don't waste your time looking any further, TRUST ME HIRE HIM. Our group is a small and recently formed nonprofit in the midst of reorganization.
