Worthless!
Harvey is a liar he told my son he knew he was innocent. He told my son the judge knew he was innocent, that if he took a plea deal he would get probation and we could fight to clear his name after the case was over. My son is in prison on a 7yrs prison sentence. Harvey hid information that would hav...
Hello, Thank you for your review, and we're sorry to hear about your experience. As you may know, plea deals are always determined by clients and defendants must testify under oath that those deals are their decision (and only their decision) and not based on any promises or representations made to you by counsel. That is standard. While we are unable to comment on the specifics of your case since this post is anonymous, it's not uncommon for certain defendants to regret taking (or not taking) plea deals when final sentencing comes down. It's an unfortunate part of the business and something that attorneys lack complete control over despite their best efforts. Please note that, because your review is anonymous, we are unable to offer any further comment on the specifics of your case. However, we absolutely dispute making any racially-charged comments and completely condone that sort of conduct from ANYONE. That is why we've worked for 45+ years in one of the nation's most difficult justice systems to defend underprivileged and marginalized individuals. If you'd like to disclose your identity, we're happy to refer you elsewhere to get the help you need and deserve. Thank you!

Terrible Attorney
I hired Harvey for my first and only brush with the law. I had one charge originally without any prior record. Harvey said I had no choice but to plead guilty. There was no negotiating. I plead guilty to the same original charge. During my imprisonment, I had multiple corrections officers tell me my ...

Liar
Harvey was hired to defend us in a civil case, told us to use all our money to save our home. We had a good case and was ready to go to trial, he totally blew us off, did not show up for hearings, I found out he dropped the case by reading the court dockets online, he did not even have the profession...
Hello, Thank you for your review, and we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. Ordinarily, attorneys drop cases or request to be removed as counsel when there is a dispute between clients and the attorney, such as when a client fails to timely submit payment. Even then, any notice of withdrawal of counsel must be approved in writing by the court. However, because this review is anonymous, we are unable to comment any further on the specifics of your case. Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with Mr. Bruner. Unfortunately, as you know, sentencing guidelines and sentencing determinations made by courts are outside of our control. We do our best to advocate on behalf of our clients using our 45+ years of experience in the Cleveland justice system, but, sometimes, due to the underlying facts and the nature of the dispute, things don't work out as hoped. We're always disappointed when that happens, as we pride ourselves on facilitating positive results for clients and keeping communication lines open every step of the way. Please note that because this review is anonymous, we are unable to comment further on any details of this case but appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

Defense
Harvey Bruner represented me in a domestic case. He was readily available and I found him to be honest, fair, confident and very competent. He impressed me with his reassuring empathetic style. I would certainty recommend him to anyone seeking a defense attorney.
Thank you!!
