Brent Lawson English

Mr English settled an accident lawsuit for my late uncle and my mother in March 2021. Today is Jan. 14, 2022. My mother STILL has not received her settlement. Repeated attempts to contact Mr English have been ignored. Today my mother contacted his office again with no satisfactory explanation for the... delay or any satisfaction as to her settlement. This treatment of an elderly client is inexcusable and I will be reporting him to the state bar. Enough is enough.

Utilized Brent to defend me in the only criminal case of my life. Arrested during height of pandemic by bored cops who went over overboard and thought I was getting high and arrested me and charged me with paraphanalia...when really i just got lost in an unfamiliar city and feel asleep waiting for my... phone to charge for Google Maps. He got the case totally dismissed. though i did a lot to acquire exculpatory evidence independently, he helped a lot. I think he uses delaying tactics maybe? Worked out either way. Solid.

I had Brent as an attorney. His staff is rude, disorganized and pushes you off every time you call. His rule of thumb is to have his secretary call when he is somewhere depo or important meeting and say there is an emergency at the office he has to come back. he is always never prepared such a was...te of a law degree. he doesn't even deserve the 1 star, it is a negative star

I put the welfare of my child in Brent's hands and he fumbled miserably and repeatedly. My case, apparently, was not important to him. He almost never returned calls or e-mails. He missed filing deadlines. He needed repeated briefings on the facts of our case. He strung the case on, unnecessaril...y, for 15 years, only to miss a key deadline that ended any chance of recovery. It was a disaster. If there were a Zero Star, he'd have gotten that.
