I am also a pharmacist and help pharmacists with criminal, civil, and State Board matters.
When I say something negative about Avvo, my rating as a lawyer goes down. This suggests that my Avvo rating is not based on my skill as an attorney. Does this cause you to question the reliability of the Avvo rating scale? Judge these fools for yourself.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Overall, I had a very negative experience meeting with James L Lindon and would not recommend him to anyone, unless you want to waste 295 dollars leaving there with more questions than answers and sitting on his office floor for almost 2 hours during the meeting. My parents and I were seeking immedia...
He came to my office with his mommy and daddy. He and his parents repeated that their "invention" was patentable. Apparently, they wanted a patent application filed that had zero chance of success. I could not ethically file a frivolous patent application. He is correct that I explained to him, or at least tried, OVER AND OVER about patentable subject matter and that his "invention" legally could not be granted a patent. Assuming they did not file a patent application anyway, it was the best $295 they ever spent. It saved them much more money on a frivolous patent application. In the year 2010, the game "corn hole" is no longer considered new. Sorry about that. Lesson: either listen to your patent lawyer or plan to waste your money. Your lawyer should tell you what you NEED to hear, not what you WANT to hear.

"When your invention is worth more than $300 and 2 hours of your time, then feel free to contact me"
After asking what my $300 would get me, the response I got was very unprofessional and reiterated the reviews already found on here. To tell someone you don't even know to come back to you when you think your idea is worth over $300 is an insult. Who would trust an attorney who makes such a horrible ...
This college student seeking a legal opinion via e-mail was disappointed. He sent the firm an email and asked for free legal advice. The firm did no legal work for him. He was advised to call the firm to discuss his matter and did not do so.

“This was based on a single allegation of disorderly conduct - nothing to do with the practice of law. Use extreme caution when viewing Avvo. Avvo lies. Lawyers do NOT provide free legal advice here. Avvo has a "rating system" like Google in the same way that I play basketball like Michael Jordan. Avvo's rating system is deceptive to consumers.”
