Custody

I hired him to represent me in a custody battle. He sent me to court without legal representation or my evidence (which he had); and instructed me to request a continuance, which was denied. I was forced to proceed without legal representation or any evidence. It took him approximately 4 months to fi...le an appeal. For the follow up hearing, he was in the court room less than 20 minutes to tell me the magistrate refused to hear any additional arguments. I was charged an outrageous fee for him not doing anything for me.

Disability case

I hired Mr Landry to write a letter and submit my disability case asking my case be reviewed fully. He took 3 months and had other lawyers and legal clerks reviewing my medical records! He said easy job, one man job! He also modified my medical records! Took every single X-ray out before sending it! ...That was the obvious evidence that I had a disability! I even thought he had health issues because at our 3 rd meeting, as he is holding my file he asked what was my name? Wow, not a confidence builder! Lost my case and had to quit my job!

A great guy and lawyer!

Frank took the time to review my case and was very informative about the process. Frank spent numerous hours building my case and called to inform me of any changes before moving forward. I liked that he addressed the concerns I had. I am satisfied with the work Frank put into my case. I would defini...tely recommend him to everyone! Thanks Frank!

Fantastic Lawyer

Frank Landry and his staff were courteous, friendly, and very professional. I consider myself lucky to have a great lawyer, Frank Landry answered all questions I've had and was supportive through everything. I highly recommend him and the firm.

Horribly disengaging

I had a consultation with him regarding a case I was pursuing. Our meeting time was set for 9am by the time I actually sat to meet with him it was about 9:15am. He didn't give me much eye contact and seemed to mainly be looking at his clock or computer. I doubt that he heard a word that I was saying,... even though he appeared to be taking notes. I wasn't able to even get through the reason I was there before he rushed me out the door saying that he will review my case and contact me later. I was in my car by 9:31am and received a letter stating my case wouldn't be worth his time. This puzzled me considering he didn't even get all the details to get a good perspective of my case. I do not suggest this attorney to anyone.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
