He didn't fight for me extremely laid back not on the ball if if didn't have the paperwork he definitely wouldn't have like you have to be your own lawyer he's just there. His advise outside court is good just not aggressive enough for me. His communication sucks too. I call and text him no answer an...d he doesn't call me back except if we are close to a trial date. My cases last trial date was in December of 2022 and I didn't get results until July 2023 of what the outcome was because of his laxadaisyness. I only found out the results by looking at the docket online he didn't inform me. I still haven't seen the actual results that the court sent to him and it is October 2023

Mr Bassett did an excellent job as our trial lawyer. My family and I went to Mr Bassett with little time to prepare for an adult guardianship case before a trial date and Mr Bassett presented himself very well informed and prepared and represented us very well in the courtroom. He is a a man of his... word and I highly recommend Mr Bassett to anyone needing legal counsel.

Bassett was very unprofessional. He would show up late to court, if he showed up at all (after I took the day off of work and drove an hour to Toledo). He would show up with wrinkled, unstucked, dirty clothes. He dragged our custody case out as long as possible and never accomplished anything. He en...ded up costing us more than a very expensive attorney who handled our case in a timely manner with respect and professionalism.

I had a debt collector trying to go after me for an illegitimate debt. No matter how much I reported in writing or over the phone that I had no intention of paying for this ridiculous debt, they wouldn't leave me alone. After a firm letter from Michael, the contact stopped-entirely. The debt never ap...peared in my credit report, either. He quickly and swiftly got rid of these people for me. Strongly recommend.
