Mr Bassett did an excellent job as our trial lawyer. My family and I went to Mr Bassett with little time to prepare for an adult guardianship case before a trial date and Mr Bassett presented himself very well informed and prepared and represented us very well in the courtroom. 3 yrs ago, my elderly parents & I sat down with Mike Bassett to draw up an irrevocable trust. We paid him $1000 and he never completed the process. We never received the final paperwork until he returned to town & we called to get it. Property titles were NOT changed in to the trust. I asked to ...have them returned to us 3 yrs later. He had left town without notifying my parents. My mother was told that he had turned his practice over to another attorney who had NO file for my parents trust. The trust was never filed or notarized. Mike Bassett has returned to Port Clinton and is not returning my mother's calls & is just NOW (3 yrs later) trying to change titles when we've hired another attorney. How can this be done with 3 year old paperwork?

we hired mike for a child custody case and he never filed the proper paperwork so we were going to court basically for nothing. he only went to court with us one time and he was late getting there and then took off with the money when he moved. took us months and we only got some of it back towards a...nother attorney and since mike never filed the paperwork we lost like 1600 plus time. now we still have nothing but visitation.
