Biography
Bruce T. Davis is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University, studied law at Oxford University in England, and graduated from the Columbus Academy.
Bruce’s practice focuses solely on criminal defense.
His case results and performance in court have distinguished him from his peers. In 2007, he was retained as lead counsel in his first death-penalty murder case. At the age of 30, Mr. Davis was one of the youngest, if not the youngest, privately-retained death-penalty lead counsel in state history. Read more about this case on our website.
He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Indiana and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Bruce is also the secretary of the Columbus Bar Association’s Criminal Law Committee.
Bruce is a lifelong resident of central Ohio. He and his wife live in Bexley.
