I hired this lawyer because of the reviews and because of his office reputation for a divorce case. I am a veteran and my ex filed for a divorce on me after being married for only 6 months. I used va loan to buy a house and I use my saving to put int the house I had bought for us and then after I ...had bought furniture and used my veteran benefits to her advantage she file for a divorce and wanted everything. I hired Jonathan and at the time I had only 2500. Dollar and he verbally agreed to do the whole case for that amount. He told me what I want to hear( your ex wife is not going to win. ) this man ended up use any lame excuse to absorb the money that I paid him by sending email after email and billing 15mins of his time per email and in 2 weeks he manage to absorb the 2500 dollars that I had paid him. I ended up going into his office and we discussed this and he did not hold up his end of the agreement. I ended up paying him 400.00 more dollars. That he said I owed him. Because he over billed me. When I had the meeting with him he told me that he attended a party with my ex wife's lawyer and that he thinks that I should give my ex wife everything and I knew then he was friends with her lawyer and he thought he had gotten whatever money he could out of me so he was throwing a favor his lawyer buddies way at my expense. I was shocked by his actions and unprofessionalism. I fired him right then and there and I went and hired another attorney that was a veteran veteran and he represented me to the fullest and I ended up paying him about 6 thousand dollar which I had put back but I won the case without Johnathon Hart. I honestly do not think much of his abilities. He settle when he thinks the well runs dry and I try to absorb as much money as he can. He is a greedy person
