Mindy Mckay Morton

Born in Clinton, Mississippi; From Clinton, Mississippi and Miami, Florida; Admitted to Mississippi Bar; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Mississippi;  U.S. District Court of Mississippi, Southern District; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Member: Mississippi Bar Association.

Mindy graduated with a BA in Criminology and Spanish from the University of Miami in Florida. Between educational endeavors, Mindy sold real estate in Miami, Florida.

During law school Mindy was on the Dean's List and was a writer and photographer for the law school's published newspaper The Legal Eye. Mindy clerked for Marc E. Brand and Associates during law school and later practiced law at the Law Firm of Marc E. Brand and Associates until she "hung her shingle." Mindy loves her firm family at Marc E. Brand and Associates and is grateful for the experience and relationships that resulted in same.
 

Mindy is an active member of the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association, Capital Area Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, and various other organizations in the practice of law, as well as dedicates her time to fundraising and community involvement.

Mindy is wonderfully married to William Lock Morton, III, an insurance defense attorney at Upshaw Williams Biggers and Beckham in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Will and Mindy reside in Madison, Mississippi with their five year old daughter McClara who attends kindergarten at First Presbyterian Day School.
