Do not hire this attorney
DO NOT HIRE MR KILPATRICK , if you wish to win your case. $5000 and two and half years later, not counting the cost of my flights and hotel cost to be in court every couple months and never seeing or speaking or having my case before a judge. Its seems he was a coward scared of the other attorney and...
I am unable to defend this comment. I do not recognize the name or have any idea what type of case this refers to. I do share the sentiment that attorney’s do not need to be hired on the basis of a review on a random website that serves very little purpose in distributing adequate information or legitimate resources relating to obtaining competent legal advice. Direct interaction with the attorney is a necessity.

Increased the price of a Will from our phone conversation!
Spoke via phone in detail about having a Will & Testament done. He explained the different parts needed and quoted me a price of $300. I took time off work to meet with him that next week. He listed the parts again and got information from me. Then he added $200 to his quote from our phone conver...
I regret when prospective clients are dissatisfied with a free consultation experience; however, after spending an hour explaining the processes, the prospective client received a price quote for a will, a power of attorney and an advanced health care directive, and that is why the quoted fee was $500, and not $300. It was more than a will, and I am sorry there was any confusion.

Not worth it
I hired Mr. Kilpatrick to handle a disorderly conduct case. From the beginning he seemed to be very disinterested in the case. I was expecting a much more aggressive defense. He waited till the day before trial to started working on defense strageties. During my meeting he confronted me with some acc...
I regret that this client was not satisfied, but this negative review is not substantiated. He did not receive a conviction and the fee was quite reasonable. At the time of conclusion of the case he informed he was quite satisfied with the outcome. I never like to have unsatisfied clients, but the outcome in this case was good for the client, despite these contentions.

The Best in Mississippi
I have always used Linton Kilpatrick for all of my legal needs. He is receptive, informative and is outstanding in his field. Having worked with a number of lawyers over the years, I can say that he is the only one that explained things to me in a way that made sense, made it clear as to what was goi...

Worst lawyer ever
He is the worst lawyer I have ever meet. I do not I repeat i do not recommend him for any services. If I could have giving him no stars I would have. He told me that I had a deal and when we went into court he told me that there was no deal. He should have his license revoked
It is upsetting and unfortunate to receive reviews like this. Unfortunately, this review is anonymous and there is not enough information for me to determine which case/client this came from. Despite this negative review, I take every criminal case seriously and never make any promises about a specific outcome, nor have I ever told a client that a "deal" has been reached when it has not. If I knew more about the context of this review I could better determine what took place. I always try to achieve the best outcome I can for a client, but because of the nature criminal cases, sometimes clients naturally are unhappy with the outcome, despite my best professional effort. I always regret hearing a client is dissatisfied with my services.
"I regularly refer my clients needing representation in Mississippi to Attorney Kilpatrick and don't hesitate to recommend him."
"Linton is an extremely intelligent, experienced and aggressive attorney with a broad base of knowledge in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and family law. I have seen Linton handle many cases and have always been impressed with his advocacy skills. I unequivocally endorse this lawyer to anyone needing legal representation."
