Biography
I am a native of Sparta, Tennessee, and have always planned to remain in the Upper Cumberland area. My office and home are located in Cookeville, centrally located so that I may easily represent my clients in the surrounding counties. I'm passionate about what I do, and I am always looking for ways to improve my clients' experiences during what can be a stressful and painful process.
I am the only attorney in the Upper Cumberland area to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. This required specific coursework and testing to gain an in-depth understanding of the financial consequences of divorce. I did this so I can better understand my clients' options, and I could then provide clients with options. Educated clients are empowered clients.
I also have attended Collaborative Divorce training. This process is not new, but is under-utilized in the Upper Cumberland. As a trained Rule 31 Listed Family Law Mediator, I also have more in-depth experience when I accompany clients to their own mediations.
My office serves all the cities in the Upper Cumberland region, including Cookeville, Sparta, Livingston, Gainesboro, Crossville, Celina, and the surrounding counties.

STAY AWAY!!
My girlfriend has Kelsey as an attorney and this lady will not communicate at all! EVERYtime we try to contact her we are always hit with “she’s in court or not available” or “we will give her the message”. If you an attorney who will actually be an “attorney” and help you, Kelsey is not the one.

DEFINITELY HIRE ANOTHER ATTORNEY
The initial consultation made me feel like Kelsey was a real go getter. NEGATIVE! Almost a year later, and I am still waiting for her to press my ex to follow the divorce decree. I have had to call and email repeatedly to get action. Terrible with following up!

Hire someone else
Toke 2 years to get a court date in that time She did not interview or use the witness. That we had listed. Nor did she present to the judge. All the evidence we had on my side. When the case was over. She notified me 2 month later by mail. The judge ruled against us about 3 weeks ago.
