Mr. Rakestraw received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, in 2008 from the Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he served as the Student Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Legal Medicine. During law school, Mr. Rakestraw was also a member of the Moot Court Board, where he received awards for Champion and Best Brief of the intramural competition.
