As a former contract attorney for the Juvenile Court and a long-time practicing family law attorney, Mr. Walker has handled the full spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, custody, relocation child support and paternity (parentage). As a result of his experience with the Juvenile Court, Mr. Walker gained extensive experience in child support and paternity cases including the use of DNA testing to establish and disestablish parentage. Estate Planning And Probate Mr. Walker helps our clients create and modify trusts, wills, living wills, advanced directives, durable powers of attorney and other estate planning tools. He is skilled in Probate Court proceedings and can handle claims dealing with the proper execution of these documents. Additionally, he assists the aging and their families with elder law issues such as long-term care and Medicaid planning. Injury Claims Attorney Walker has represented clients in many different personal injury claims ranging from truck and serious vehicle accidents to criminal assaults. He has also handled property liability cases, such as slip-and-fall injuries and dog bites, as well as complex worker's compensation cases. Mr. Walker has lectured on these topics for the National Business Institute, and has written several continuing legal education publications about injury litigation, evidence, insurance and settlement procedures. Community Involvement Lawyer Phillip R. Walker gives back to the community by providing pro bono legal service for the poor and for charities. He is a former board member and served as legal counsel for Hope Works, Inc., a nonprofit, faith-based educational program serving the Memphis area.
