Prior to joining The Lawyers of Brown and Roberto, I practiced law in Nashville where I gained experience in employment discrimination claims, personal injury claims, will contests and breach of contract claims. I served as a judicial law clerk in the Tennessee Supreme Court. While practicing law in the Court, I assisted the Justices of the Court with complex legal research in the drafting of Court opinions. Before I became a lawyer, I served for four years as a policy advisor to Governor Phil Bredesen.
I am a Knoxville native. I graduated from Farragut High School where I captained the Cross Country Team. From there I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee and graduated Cum Laude. I also earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from UT and my Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law.
In my free time, I still enjoy running, hiking the Smokies and traveling. The thing that I enjoy most about practicing law with The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto is the opportunity that I have to help others.

Workers Comp Nightmare
From the very start it was an uphill battle. Sadly, I realized shortly after my incident that the workers comp. company, Sedgwick, would just keep pushing me around until I obtained legal representation. Tim Roberto is educated and was able to answer all of my questions throughout the entire process....

Best decision I made was hiring Tim.
I thought I wanted a super aggressive attorney. Tim's demeanor ended up being just what I needed to get my business settled. He was calm, thoughtful, and smart. All Tim's actions were well thought out and that made for a smooth resolution that was in my best interest (I wasn't feeling so patient...
"Tim Roberto is a highly competent attorney in the Knoxville area. I refer workers compensation cases to him and believe he is of the highest caliber in that area of the law. I endorse him without reservation."
"It's always a pleasure when Tim is opposing counsel on a matter. He's very professional and advocates well for his clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. I am not an Employment & Labor law expert. When my clients come to me with questions in this area of the law, I refer them to Tim. He has taken the time to speak to all of the clients that I have referred to him, counseled them on the law, and represented those who needed help. Working relationships with other attorneys are vital to any law practice and I appreciate Tim being a part of mine."
"I have known Tim Roberto for all of his life as he is my brother. Tim is a zealous advocate and uses his experience in Employment law to assist his clients in getting all of the benefits they are entitled to under the law."
"I endorse this lawyer. i have been impressed with his work ethic, his ability to catch on to new things and his aggressive handling of his clients cases."
