Steve is a jerk

Horrible experience with Steve Erdely. He was not efficient and only concerned about his wage. Opposing side had a free attorney. They called Steve constantly wasting time. He ran up the clock not caring about my bill nor could he close the case. I had the idea on how to close the case… Instructed St...eve to offer the other side a non negotiable settlement with a 24 hour window. He balked saying they will jump etc… they accepted and he asked if he could have more money from me. That I was getting a great deal on legal Fees and he settled the case. HE DID NOT… I did. He is arrogant, obstinacy, and speaks to his clients like dogs. Has young girls working for him that barely last a year. Stay away from him.

Unfortunately, this client was not brave enough to post her name. If I am correct, this client rejected my recommendation of going to trial because she did not want to pay the necessary legal fees. Ultimately, we were able to settle her claim for significantly more than what she was originally offered by the insurance company. Although she owed me much more in legal fees, I agreed to reduce my fee to an amount agreeable to her. Upon picking up her sizeable settlement check, she expressed no dissatisfaction in person, but decided to post here 6 to 8 months later.

"I endorse this lawyer. We had a case together that was rather complicated. Mr. Erdely maneuvered through those complications during depositions well and performed a great service to his client. He is excellent at the job that he does."

Avvo Rating

Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
