This lawyer was hired by a debt relief agency on my behalf. He called me shortly after the assignment. He was supposed to negotiate a couple of debts for me but after the initial call, I never heard from him again. I was sued twice and he never showed up in court either time. When I called the debt ...agency they said he was to give me updates but when I called him the call went to voicemail. Twice I was able to leave a message but he never returned my call, all the other times I called the voicemail box was too full to leave a message. I never met him in person and only had one conversation with him. The least he could do was respond to my call and tell me he wasn't taking my case. Instead, I was in court waiting for a lawyer to show up. I have since found out that the debt agency is a scam. If he knew this he should have warned me.
