I recently encountered a serious issue with the Department of Justice. I was being targeted for indictment for a white-collar crime due to tax issues. Naturally, I was petrified since I have never been in any situation like this in my entire life. Other than this issue, I have lived a long life withi...n the law. Mr. Eldridge laid everything out during our initial meeting and was realistic about sentencing possibilities. Under the circumstances of this case, his advice for my best course of action would be to make a plea agreement where the potential sentencing could be reduced and count on his expertise to represent me to the fullest. Mr. Eldridge worked through all the details and met with several of my friends and family members for character references, while trying to keep me calm throughout the process. His office manager Jennifer Stiles kept in contact with me to make sure we were on top of all appointments, court dates and submittal deadlines. After this ordeal, I now understand the support system required for an attorney who must multi-task and balance his caseload. The staff at Eldridge & Blakney was very diligent on keeping the case documents updated for me. I believe the exceptional organizational skills helped my case by getting case documents to me for review without delay. I have only had one other encounter in my lifetime requiring the services of an attorney. I can attest this experience with Mr. Eldridge and his staff was far more attentive and helpful than how I was treated in my other matter. I certainly believe for many of the reasons mentioned above, my case had the most favorable outcome that I could have expected. From the beginning, Mr. Eldridge was realistic about the road ahead and made no promises to me. He only said he would do his best for me and I certainly believe he did so.
