High Conflict Custody Case

Jason is a wonderful attorney. His fees are fair, he is very responsive and reachable when needed. Excellent communication. He won’t blow smoke just to get your business. He is smart, organized, well spoken, and truly invested in his clients. He is no nonsense, but fair and caring. I could go on and ...on honestly. I’ve used other attorneys and they don’t compare to Jason at all. Get a consultation and hire him, you won’t be disappointed.

Best Lawyer/Kind but Tough

Mr Arthur was truly amazing. I was referred to him by a coworker and he didnt disappoint. He was professional and caring towards me but had no hesitation in picking up the phone and holding the other parties accountable. He did paperwork the opposing counsel was supposed to do (I heard the judge), an...d was always one step ahead. He doesnt play politics and was there to get done what I needed. Very reasonable fee in comparison. Trust me. No idea why a person would hire anyone else.

An Excellent Attorney, Without A Doubt!

Jason handled my family's issues and concerns regarding guardianship for our Mother and the handling of her Power of Attorney. We found him to be honest, knowledgeable and very thorough. He was always available to answer our questions whenever the need arose. I am a counselor and I refer my clients ...to him without hesitation.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I was involved with Mr. Arthur as opposing counsel in an Order of Protection case. Despite the awkwardness that often results between opposing parties in cases of this type, Mr. Arthur was profession to work with at all times, and ultimately was able to work out a creative solution that met both parties' needs without requiring them to endure a difficult hearing process. I would happily recommmend Mr. Arthur to anyone seeking an attorney for any area in which he practices."

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2009.

Reciprocal - Suspension issued in VA, 2009

updated on 09/21/2014

This means that the attorney's misconduct in another state, or jurisdiction, also violated the rules for practicing law in Virginia.

Jason’s comment:

“See above response please.”

Suspension issued in TN, 2008

updated on 02/20/2017

Suspended means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Jason’s comment:

“The complaint filed was from a former attorney/employer and NOT a client. My discipline resulted in no interruption in my ability to practice law in TN or VA. The "suspended" time was not ordered and my license was never inactive. The employer filed the same complaint in VA that he did in TN and the discipline was the same. The attorney that filed this complaint has a history of doing this to other attorneys in the Tri-Cities. I was the 3rd of what are now 8 such complaints.”
