Misty has to be one of the worst attorneys in the tri state area. She made me a quote on a case then kept adding fees every time I turned around. When I confronted her she slung her stringy hair back, rolled her eyes, and said "What did you expect". Then she actually walked off?? I still have no id...ea what her comment even meant. I told her to just stop appearing with me in court. The case actually started going better once she was gone. LESSON LEARNED. Don't make the mistake with this person.

Went to Misty on recommendation of a friend. She promised me I would get custody of my son and that it was an easy situation resolved. She made me pay extra fees for a mediation she says resolved my issues which did nothing. I was told after mediation me and ex need to be adults and rectify situa...tion with son. No situationni went to her about has been resolved. I'm looking into getting an attorney to sue her and I'm also filing a complaint with Board of responsibility with state of Tennessee.

I hired Misty during the most difficult time in my life. While my large family was falling to pieces around me, my father was dying of cancer and in excruciating pain. My own pain of existing every day went to my bones, which hurt every waking hour. Needless to say, I thought only God was on my ...side. What I found in this lawyer was both a sincere desire for practicing law the way it was designed and a level of empathy that cannot be taught. Misty handled a lot of avenues of my case “behind the curtain”. That let me know she was constantly considering the best outcome for my state of affairs. This lawyer has a future as a judge, but, until then, I will recommend her with the highest regard as an attorney. There’s a previous review about Misty communicating with other lawyers that bothered me. Misty also settled my situation out of court; however, I know for a fact that her gameness in the courtroom would have given the same outcome. Other lawyers know this as well, which is why Misty is able to mediate effectively.

After hiring misty she told me that my case was a clear cut case and shouldn't take no more that 3 months to complete. "Super" I thought to my self. However, a year later I fired her. Her 3 months estimate was clearly miscalculated! She lied about going to court when she was actually working deals w...ith the other attorney that was not in my best interest. She Charged me and kept an enormous amount of my money. It seems like she went on vacation with my money!
